Beluga:(staff favorite)

The Beluga is Imperium’s flagship lure. Available in sizes S7, S5, S3, & S2. This design drew inspiration from a desire to update the classic plunger shape. There is a 5-6 second cycle before it pops and dives again. Where it differs from a classic plunger starts at re-entry on the cycle. I enters the water at a much steeper angle than a classic plunger due to the large single jet on top face of the lure. When it dives, there is a phenomenal bubble trail from the single jet. When it pops out, both the face and and jet throw water like a bait fish jumping out. This lure can be fished in a variety of sea conditions from flat to rough waters. One of a kind design with multiple species application.

S7 - Big marlin teaser, run in the flat or off the teaser reel. Optimal speed 6-12kts.

S5 - Hooked bait for Marlin(Black & Blue), can be run in any position, preferred is short or long rigger. Optimal speed 6-12kts. Hook size 10/0

S3 - Hooked bait. Great all around lure. We have had success with multiple species of marlin, tuna, and even makos. Long or short rigger, flat, or shotgun. Capt’s preference on position. Optimal speed 6-12kts(we have run it faster with no issues but you won’t need to in most application) Hook size 8/0

S2 - Hooked bait. This is the meat lure size of the beluga. This size has caught 150# YFT, wahoo, big eye, BFT, mahi, marlin, etc. Long or Short Rigger, flat, or shotgun. Capt’s preference on position. Optimal speed 6-12kts(we have run it faster with no issues but you won’t need to in most application) Hook size 7/0
